Elsie Ault contracted cista dublonis on February 29th, 1993 according to her estimations. She had been visiting family in Bo Bo, Indiana. An early riser, she had gone to do some morning grocery shopping when she felt an acute pain in her right arm. At first she feared a heart attack or stroke, but it soon went away. Although she felt fine her arm continued to feel strange to her. She went to the doctor three weeks later, after she had returned home to Westfield, New Jersey. He quickly saw that her right arm was much shorter than her left. Upon further examination he also noted a new skin discoloration just below her left breast. Other than that he found her in perfect health.
Her next trip to the doctor was four months later. She complained of shortness of breath and her doctor diagnosed her with asthma. She left the doctor's office with a prescription for an inhaler and a sudden desire to move to a sunnier locale. She moved into her Florida home on September, 20th, 1994. There she began to follow a strict regiment of sleep to allow for her to take in the most sunlight each day. This required her to awake as soon as the sun rose and head outdoors, and not return inside until the sun falls.
The Commission officially registered Elsie Ault as a cista dublonis carrier on July 5th, 1995 when a Commission employee discovered her sun worshipping. Sylvia Anderson was on vacation in Daytona Beach for the Fourth of July, and on the 3rd she was walking the beach where Elsie was scantily clad, taking in as much sun as possible. Sylvia immediately recognized the skin discoloration below Elsie's breast as a sign of cista dublonis. She held a short conference with Elsie and contacted the Commission. A team was sent to investigate and confirmed Sylvia's findings.
On January 4th, 1999 Mrs. Ault sent the Commission a letter explaining her 'inner vision'. She claimed she could see beneath the skin of people. She claimed that the depth beneath the skin she can see has been increasing, and at that time was just beginning to be able to see as deep as bone structures. She wrote that she hoped to put this ability to use in catching malformations beneath the skin of people and getting them properly diagnosed by doctors. She hoped to save many lives in this manner. The Commission quickly contacted her, wishing to investigate and confirm her claim. She refused stating that at that moment her ability had waned due to the lack of sunlight over the winter months. She told the Commission to get back in touch with her sometime in the summer. She claimed that her worship of the sun was the root of her ability, and in the summer there would be enough sun for her to regain her ability. However, since our contact with her that January the Commission has not been able to contact Elsie Ault. We believe she is currently traveling to gather information on the Spartan Aircraft Company.
