"Universes are very complex places, and maps of them are not very precise. With that in mind I have started research to make more precise documentation of the universes. In my research before this I found that the ears of zebras contain the maps of areas on the earth. However, I began to realize there was no need for more precise maps of the earth; existing maps are quite accurate. After a short time of no research I turned my eye to the sky and realized that is where my work was. I began to compare universes with the ears of zebras and found amazing similarities. While my research is in the early stages and lacks funding I will still work to provide more accurate maps of space. To the left is the spiral galaxy NGC 4414 overlayed on the ear of a 12 year old male zebra. This picture was taken in Tanzania in 1993.

"NGC 4414 is a spiral galaxy about 62 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices. It is a flocculent galaxy, without well defined spiral arms. In 1974 a supernova, SN 1974G, was recorded and was the only supernova in NGC 4414 (so far). NGC 4414 was imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995, as part of the HST's main mission to determine the distance to galaxies, and again in 1999 as part of the Hubble Heritage project.
